The Pays de Saint-Omer urban area library occupies part of the former Jesuit college. In the magnificent heritage room, the collections of old books include over 35,000 volumes, including a copy of the two most sought-after books in the world: the Gutenberg Bible and Shakespeare's First Folio! The heritage room is open to the general public: Outside school holidays: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9am to 12pm and from 1pm to 6pm. Short school holidays: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 9am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 6pm. Summer: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 9am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 5pm.
